Bottle Crushed Velvet

It’s hard to tell what some fabrics are really like going by online pictures and descriptions but I wanted green velvet for a winter event dress. The fabric is absolutely lovely; a good weight and lovely feel. Also a deep, rich colour that means it looks expensive but was cheap as chips. I’m undecided whether to make the shay dress from Chalk and Notch or the Mayfair dress by Nina Lee patterns.
