1KG Waste Scrap Fabric cut offs

I had high hopes of scraps of cotton fabric (patchwork) and other bits that could be used for small projects. What I got was a lot of the lint and fluff where fabric has been cut, a pile of very small netting offcuts and pieces of jersey material that may have their uses down the line but whose colours are awful. There were some larger pieces of polyester fabric which have gone to the charity shop. I ordered 3 kilos and it could be said that, for the £10.50 paid, my expectations were too high but I have over a kilo of waste that can be used only for stuffing.

I tagged one of these onto my order and was so happy with the contents, 2 of 3 scraps of waterproof stuff that will never be used but also some lovely fabrics which have given me ideas for all sorts of things.

Interesting small selection of quite large bits of fabric. Not sure what I’ll use a big bit of purple velvet for - maybe Xmas dresses for Granddaughters! I’d probably order more though as very cheap!

I was very pleased with the parcel most were useable thfifths and will enjoy thinking of projects

Generally a really good buy. Scope for a few wee projects 😊
Negative: a good few bit of selvage cut off, unfortunately ended up in my rag bag.
